This year, the MGM Grand is rolling out the red carpet for spectators of the National Finals Rodeo. Visitors who “check in” at select Las Vegas resorts using the new Facebook Deals mobile application can receive special offers and upgrades. Participating hotels include include the Palms and Harrah’s Entertainment properties (Planet Hollywood, Paris Las Vegas and Caesars Palace, among several others.)

At Harrah’s joints, users of the Facebook app will receive buy-one-get-one-free coupons for the hotels’ buffets. Over at the Palms, meanwhile, guests will receive room upgrades or a free additional night’s stay. The specific deals will appear once visitors “check in” from inside the hotels by using their iPhones or visiting touch.facebook.com.
