Suncoast Offers 2-For-1 Buffet Deal

Last month, Station casinos slashed their buffet prices to entice customers. And entice they did. Now comes word that Suncoast has upped the ante by offering a 2-for-1 buffet deal every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in February.

The offer can be used at St. Tropez buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and runs all month. The eatery’s specialties include Italian, Mexican, Mongolian and seafood. Valentine’s Day buffet trip anyone?

Drink and Dining Specials at Nob Hill, Sea Blue

Just because it’s happy hour doesn’t mean the food has to suck. Chef Michael Mina’s two world-class casual eateries at the MGM Grand are offering some of the best food and drink specials in town. At Sea Blue, you can toss back $4 Stella Artois drafts from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday while enjoying $1 shrimp and $1 oyster specials. In addition, lobster corndogs and salt and pepper calamari are half off.
At Nob Hill Tavern, Mina offers a late-night happy hour with food and drink specials every day from 10 until midnight. Selected snacks and appetizers are $8; specialty cocktails are also only $8; and beers are $4. You’ll want to come back for Nob Hill’s Whiskey Tailgate at 5:30 p.m. Sundays and Mondays, during which all classic whiskey cocktails are $8, Anchor Steam bears are $6, and the tailgate sampler special is $11 per person (three person minimum). Now at the Steakhouse at Circus Circus, locals will receive a bottle of wine on the house — choose from chardonnay, cabernet and merlot — when they purchase two entrees. (Kinda) Secret Meal Deal at Hard Rock

This special isn’t new, but it’s worth highlighting for those who aren’t in the know. Hard Rock Hotel offers an off-the-menu dinner special round the clock inside Mr. Lucky’s 24/7 — one that’s hard to beat. For $7.77, you get a N.Y. strip steak, three grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes and a dinner salad. When you order, you have to say you want the Gambler’s Special.

2-for-1 Buffet Deal at Silverton

The impressive spread at the Silverton was already one of the best deals in town, with plenty of well-executed midscale offerings. Now the buffet is an even better value. Through the end of the month, members of the Discovery Club — signup is free — can receive two buffets for the price of one.
