Celine Dion Returning to Caesars

Canadian songstress Celine Dion is set to return for another extended run at Caesars Palace. The multiple Grammy-winning artist is currently rehearsing for the new show’s March 15 opening. According to UPI, the show will feature a full orchestra of 31 musicians.

The world tour of international pop star Ricky Martin makes a stop in Vegas this spring. Suncoast Offers 2-For-1 Buffet Deal

Last month, Station casinos slashed their buffet prices to entice customers. And entice they did. Now comes word that Suncoast has upped the ante by offering a 2-for-1 buffet deal every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in February.

The offer can be used at St. Tropez buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and runs all month. The eatery’s specialties include Italian, Mexican, Mongolian and seafood. Valentine’s Day buffet trip anyone?

Funnyman Tim Allen Coming to Vegas

Actor/comedian Tim Allen is returning to Vegas in a big way in 2011. The former “Home Improvement” leading man will bring his standup act to the Venetian for a slate of dates throughout the year. Two New Sportsbooks Open for Big Game

Just in time for the Big Game, two new sports books have opened in Vegas. Both the Hard Rock Hotel and the Tropicana recently unveiled full-service sports-betting facilities operated by Cantor Gaming.

For those unfamiliar with Cantor, the company has taken the local sports book scene by storm, thanks to its new technology. Using hand-held mobile gaming devices, bettors can place what are known as “in-running” bets during the game. Field goals, scoring drives and other game events can all be wagered on live.
