The wildly popular musical Jersey Boys will be made into a feature-length movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The production won four Tony Awards in 2006 before landing in Vegas, at the Palazzo. A tender and toe-tapping telling of the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the hit musical repackages such songs as “My Eyes Adored You” and “Ragdoll” for a whole new generation of fans.
Graham King’s GK Films acquired the film rights to the show. The producer of record is Tim Headington, and Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice are expected to adapt the screenplay. No word yet on when filming is likely to begin.
