Just in time for the Big Game, two new sports books have opened in Vegas. Both the Hard Rock Hotel and the Tropicana recently unveiled full-service sports-betting facilities operated by Cantor Gaming.

For those unfamiliar with Cantor, the company has taken the local sports book scene by storm, thanks to its new technology. Using hand-held mobile gaming devices, bettors can place what are known as “in-running” bets during the game. Field goals, scoring drives and other game events can all be wagered on live.
